Autumn

As I stood atop a ridge gazing across, the valley breathing in the cool Autumn air. I seen the leaves that were once green start to turn. It looked as though Mother Nature dipped her brush, and splashed her leaves hues of golden, red, and orange. Down below in the valley deer were grazing, near a winding stream. The cool Autumn breeze blows a chill, and the painted leaves begin to fall. That’s her que Autumn has begun.

King of Nothing

A man with all the power, and no plan is a dangerous man. He never takes the blame, and never feels the sting. In his mind he does no wrong, and knows it all. While the people around him fall, he sits high upon the hill. Until someone comes along, knocks him down, and steals his crown.
Night

The moon hangs high, and shines bright lighting the night. The stars shimmer, and glow. A cool breeze blows. In the distance a Whippoorwill calls out, and is answered by a howl. The night is full of life, mystery, and a little something magical.

Grey Skies Pass By

Every night will dawn into a new day. All grey skies pass by,and turn a beautiful shade of blue. Missed chances are opportunities lost. Don’t let fear stand in the way. Get up,and push on, and you’ll conquer your dreams.

Everyday Life

Wooden bowl of fruit sitting on the table. Cradled inside, one lonely apple, three overly ripened bananas, a cluster of plump grapes, and four Navel oranges. I think I’ll have the apple as a snack. The bananas need to be baked into bread. The grapes and oranges can wait another day. What a way to start a day, drinking coffee, and counting fruit. Thinking of the days chores that need to be started.

Cycle of the Season’s

As I sit here, and look out my window, the snow is falling, and blankets the ground. The wind is blowing, without a sound. Icicles hang and cling to almost everything. Now don’t worry before too long, the Sun will come back around, to melt the snow, and make the green grass grow. Flowers will bloom, trees will blossom. A sweet aroma flows through the air, birds sing without a care. Now Autumn’s just around the corner, I feel the cool crisp air, and smell the sweetness in the air. The leaves of green are now yellow, orange, and red. What a beautiful sight, it won’t last too long. Now the breeze blows a bitter cold, and I know its here again, my old friend Winter.

Reflection’s

Ocean water’s calm and still, smooth as glass. The reflection of the water only showing what it wants you to see. Deep deep beneath, hiding from the light, and shallow reflections of the day, a strong current rages on.

Inspiring poem from Robert Frost

A Place Within My Heart

Ebony nights turn into red, orange Sun rises. Tides roll out only to roll back in over, and over again. In the days we are apart know you are always in my heart. Seasons my come and go. Years may come to pass. Even then know you are always in my heart.Every now and then I’ll think of you and smile, from all the memories and times we shared. With every passing day know you will always play a part deep inside my heart. One day I hope to see you again. Until then know you are always in my heart.
