Rain drops hit against the window pane, collecting on the glass, slowly rolling down. Everything reflecting back as monochrome film. In these shades of gray, I find a peaceful bliss. Thunder cracks sending a boom rattling these old windows. Flashes of lightening shoot across the sky spanning out like tiny tree roots. The rain becomes heavy, and steady. Gusts of wind blow through the trees. The storm is strong, but its stamina will fade to a gentle rain. The storm will soon evanesce, to a sun filled sky melting away the monochrome shades of gray. Bringing forth a brightly kaleidoscopic rainbow.
